Alot of information but very small. Definitely not worth $10.00. Or maybe I'm just too frugal. Eight pages with pictures. About 100 pages. Written 2006. Could easily fit in fanny pack.
The look of this item is very decieving. It is so small ,it fits in the palm of my hand and the info in it, you can find on any website. Not worth the $10 I paid ofr it. A ripoff.
I was terribly disappointed in this 2006 tiny book on Cozumel. It was a waste of money. I can't believe that I just paid [...] for a travel book which I will throw in the trash after a 45 minute read. More current information is shown on my Can-Do travel guide map. And, yes, I did go to the website which was referred to in a previous review, to check out updates and changes. There I found only a few name changes for restaurants.In all fairness, I was not looking for a guide which listed only food sources, shopping and night life. That was 3/4 of this book's offerings. I wanted in depth information about places to visit of natural and ecological interest and historical interest. Specifically I wanted more information on Punta Sur Park in the south and Punta Molas in the north of the island. Nothing was found in this book. Also, in fairness, I had previously read some standard current travel guides on Cozumel, but hoped to get some in-depth information from this book---based on the reviews I read.My advise, order a 2009 Foder's Cancun, Cozumet etc Guide and a Can-Do Travel Guide map of Cozumel and you will have much more current and in-depth information than this book provides.

This is a great guide and worth every penny! My family just got back from a Cozumel vacation Nov 21 - Nov 30, 2008 and found this guide to be a great planning asset. We didn't leave the hotel without it because it either fit into my shorts pocket or into my wife's purse. We used it everyday to help us plan our daily activities, as well as, our breakfast, lunch and dinner plans. The guide was published late in 2006 (after the hurricane) and is still very accurate, we only found 2 places that had either closed or changed names. The guide is presented as a "Best Of" list from everything from best dinning, best shopping, to the best beaches, and the descriptions are detailed and accurate. The guide never steered us wrong, we were happy with every recommendation. There is even an overall island map and a map of the downtown area to help you on your adventures. I wanted a travel guide that focused only on Cozumel and not the surrounding Yucatan/Playa Del Carmen/Cancun; this is indeed what I was looking for. There were no reviews on this guide when I purchased, there should be! Please don't hesitate, this guide is awesome. We also purchased the Cozumel Can-Do map, but liked this guide better.
Great resource! Wouldn't leave home without it. It proved to be a very valuable item before and on the trip.
I would recommend this book to others! It is small so that it is easy to include in your luggage.
